| AZUR air airline launched the Boeing 767-300 aircraft, thus expanding the fleet to 26 aircraft. Boeing received was the third liner commissioned during 2019 of the year and the tenth aircraft of this type in the company's fleet. Since the beginning of the year, the volume of available chair capacity has increased by 10%, the press service of the airline said.
The expansion of the wide-body aircraft fleet will allow AZUR air to increase transportation to the most popular tourist destinations, including long-haul ones. In particular, this year airplanes of the Boeing 767-300 type will be used for the first time on the directions Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Antalya and Moscow (Vnukovo) - Barcelona, as well as on the lines from Blagoveshchensk and Vladivostok to Cam Ranh (Nyachang) instead of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 757-200, serving these routes in the spring and summer 2018 year. At the same time, flights to Boeing 767-300 are planned in the direction of Magadan - Cam Ranh, a new in the airline's route network. “More spacious aircraft can fully meet the high demand in a number of destinations, while maintaining the convenience of the schedule and the availability of the tourist product for our passengers,” comments Yuri Fedorovich Stogniy, Director General of AZUR air. In 2019, AZUR air will continue the fleet expansion program at the expense of the Boeing 767-300 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, the implementation of which will allow the company to strengthen its position in the charter passenger traffic segment and completely close the growing needs of its partners in the tourism market.
