In Tuesday, July-12-2022 have excursion group from Pattaya and Bangkok to the ancient city of Ayutthaya.
A fascinating one-day tour with a guide is sure to appeal to people who love history. And it will be a good addition to excursion to Angkor temple complex in Cambodia and temples of Lopburi.
Ancient city of Ayutthaya was the capital of the Kingdom, which preceded Siam. It was founded in 1350 and by 1700 more than 1 million people lived in Ayutthaya. At that time it was the largest city on Earth, until its destruction by Burmese army in 1767th.
The city of Ayutthaya stands on an island, surrounded by canals and a river. The historic part of Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will visit the following temples of ancient Ayutthaya:

Wat Yai Chai Mongkol;
Wat Maha That;
Wat Phra Sri Sanpet;
Wat Na Phra Men;
Wat Chaiwattanaram known from blockbuster "Mortal Kombat".

Lunch is also included in the program and will be held in an authentic restaurant near Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, the national Chiang Mai cuisine of northern Thailand, not spicy.
