| Hotel maid in Pattaya stole 200 dollars from a Russian tourist 
The girl claims that she took the money from the table in the man’s room, because she decided that he left a tip for her.
An 18-year-old hotel employee at Jomtien was arrested after receiving a complaint from a Russian guest. Nikolay Lavanov (Nikolay Lavanov) told the police that 200 dollars had been stolen from his number.
During the interrogation, the girl confessed that she took the money after twice during her visits to the cleaning room she saw them left on the table. The maid decided that the guest wanted to thank her with generous tips and took them.
She immediately exchanged the proceeds for local currency, getting hands on about 6500 baht, which she spent in a jewelry store, buying a gold ring for herself. She is currently charged with theft.
