This is reported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand. The number of Chinese tourists gradually begins to recover from the July tragedy in Phuket.

In July, more than 3,1 million foreign tourists arrived in Thailand. Mostly from East Asia (less from Europe, South Asia and America). AT
compared to July last year, the number of tourists increased by 2,85%.

Expenses of foreign tourists in July brought Thailand income in more than 1,6 billion baht (+ 6,38% compared with last year).
For the first 7 months of this year, 22 million foreign tourists arrived in Thailand (+ 11% y / y), which brought the country's economy more
1,1 trillion baht (+ 14,44% y / y).
