| The amendments to the 2018 Tobacco Control Act, adopted in November 2017, and the Thai Ministry of Health Directive, 2018, extend the areas in which smoking is prohibited.
According to these documents, you can not smoke within 5 radius from the bus stops, taxi ranks, bus terminals, railway stations, piers, ports and airports in Thailand.
Bali High Pier has additional signs prohibiting smoking!
February 15 on the pier of Bali Hai was a campaign that reminded residents and tourists that smoking is not welcome in Bali Hai. For violation of the law faces a fine of 5 thousand baht.

Smoking is prohibited in public places!

“The updated law applies to buses, taxis, minivans, trains, boats, even to motorcycle taxis,” said Ms. Vilaiwan.
Also, smoking is prohibited in and around government offices and state-owned enterprises in the radius of 5 meters.
