From 9 September, 100 Electrotaxi will start serving passengers at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

In order to promote the use of renewable energy, the Land Transport Division launches the 9 September 101 electric taxi service for passengers at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
By 2019 / 2020, we plan to increase the fleet of electric vehicles to 1000 electric vehicles.
Tariffs for the new transport: landing 150 baht, starting from 3 km of the way - 16 baht per km. It is assumed that in the days of the launch of new cars, customers will be offered a discount on a trip to 5%.
Electrotaxi are equipped with GPS systems and tablets with Internet access. Taxis can be booked at the service desk at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
30 petrol stations for electric cars taxis are currently operating in Bangkok.
As a taxi used BYD E6 electric cars made in China.
