"Lost World" package details
We will visit two national parks of Thailand in one day: Khao Wong and Khao Chi Mao. They are located relatively near, about a hundred kilometers from Pattaya. On the way, we spend some hour and a half and we find ourselves in an amazingly beautiful place! Here is the real Lost World! Untouched primitive jungles and rivers flowing through them, lianas hanging from the cliffs, bizarre outlines of mountains with many caves, hung with stalactites and filled with chatter of bats, from which goosebumps run. Wild monkeys climbing on lianas. Waterfalls babbling in the jungle. A fascinating action that anyone can feel.
We will pass through a system of 86 caves, explore the cave temple and swim in the crystal-clear Emerald Pool on the fifth level of Khao Chi Mao waterfall. In total, the waterfall has eight levels. At the first level, the fish will make peeling those who want it!
Before visiting the waterfall, we will have a delicious lunch in national style.
In the cave temple we will be waiting for the family of good monkeys, we will feed monkeys with tasty bananas.
Our journey begins with a visit to a Buddhist temple, located among the rocks of Khao Wong Kot National Park. The founder of the temple was an enlightened (reached the state of Nirvana) wandering monk. Having settled in the local caves, the monk began to teach people Vipassana meditation, which laid the foundation for building a temple here.
In addition to local parishioners, this place was chosen by wild monkeys. They are mediocre mediators, but are delighted with the treats.
After feeding and communicating with our smaller brothers, the path to the dungeon will begin, through the systems of caves with access to impenetrable jungle. Before descending into the cave will issue rubber boots and flashlights. For the convenience of wearing boots, it would be better to have a pair of socks with you so that the boots do not rub the legs. Nothing dangerous or complicated here. Everything is built in such a way that anyone who wishes can go down to the cave, even without the slightest preparation. Throughout the route the group is accompanied by an experienced guide.
Amazing creations of nature open up before us: stalactites and stalagmites formed on the arches and in the cave aisles millions of years ago. Huge trees that grow on the surface, pierce through the course of the cave with their roots. And of course, in the secluded corners of the cave there are thousands of bats, which can be seen hanging upside down on the vaults and walls of the dungeon.
We will share our impressions at lunch in Khao Chi Mao national park. The cost of our program already includes a delicious lunch and non-alcohol. Fortified, we went to swim to the eight-level waterfall.
Pure cool water of the mountain river will give a charge of joy and cheerfulness. At will, everyone chooses a place to relax. The most tireless can go to the highest point of the waterfall, which is located at an altitude of 2,630 meters above sea level. Yes, it will not be easy! For swimming, you can stay at lower levels in the mountain lagoons and indulge in relaxation to the sound of falling water. At the first levels, we are expected by reservoirs with fish, with which you can swim or just feed.
With the beginning of sunset, we leave the Lost World and return from the natural calm and tranquility to contrast and incendiary Pattaya.
