"Rebellious South of Thailand" trip from Pattaya

 Individual, author's four-day tour from Pattaya to three rebellious provinces of Thailand and the most religious sultanate of Malaysia. Even the one who saw everything - we can surprise! Here is really untouched nature. Many unique sights. And a very benevolent people that has never seen Europeans. Yes... such places have survived to this day!

"Rebellious South of Thailand" tour program

The first day:

• Transfer from Pattaya to Bangkok airport. Morning flight from Bangkok to Narathiwat (less than 1.5 hours).
• Meeting with our guide at Narathiwat airport, transfer to the city’s best hotel - Imperial 4*. This hotel is equipped by swimming pool, bars and restaurants. There are hookah bars, nightclubs and massage parlors in the hotel area.
• Local style lunch.
• After lunch we will visit the most beautiful beach of Southern Thailand. This is Ao Manao beach also known as  "Lemon Beach" and the national park of the same name. Landscapes as the Seychelles and absence of tourists, beautiful clear sea, white sand, the perfect entry into the sea for swimming.
• At sunset, visit local Golden Buddha temple, the largest in Southern Thailand.
• Dinner at a local restaurant.
• After dinner, choose from: visit to the best nightclub of Narathiwat, or traditional southern Thai massage.

Second day:

• Breakfast.
• Jeep travel to Malaysia,  the Kelantan Sultanate. We pass Thai-Malaysian border very quickly (literally within 10 minutes) along a special corridor, where there are practically no visa or customs formalities.
• City tour of the most conservative and deeply religious Sultanate of Malaysia - Kelantan, the city of Kota Baru. We will visit beautiful embankment, the Museum of WWII, square in front of the Sultan's Palace, an art street where you can take wonderful and unusual photos.
• Lunch at a national restaurant. Here you try Malay cuisine (very tasty and not spicy).
• Return to Thailand by ferry, across the other border.
• In the evening, a sightseeing tour of Narathiwat, dinner and massage.
• Overnight at the hotel in Narathiwat.

Third day:

• Breakfast.
• Trip to local national park. Swimming and relaxing at Si Po waterfall. On the way we will stop (if desired) in the most dangerous city of Thailand.
• Lunch.
• After lunch, we will drive an SUV through a huge cave along the river.
• Make a stop on the shores of a picturesque mountain lake.
• Around 15:00 we arrive at the famous alpine balneological resort Be Thong.
• After check in to the hotel, we will swim in the healing pools with hot mineral water. Visit the underground city. Until 1987, for the duration of 40 years, here the rebels - communists provided armed resistance to the Thai troops. Nowadays, Be Thong is a Chinese enclave, surrounded on all sides by the Muslim population. The city has a lot of entertainment, which is unacceptable in the neighboring regions.
• Dinner at the restaurant.
• After dinner, choose from: an evening in nightclub or a traditional Chinese massage (there are contraindications for some diseases).
• Spend night in 4* hotel of Be Thong City. The hotel has swimming pool, restaurant.

Fourth day:

• Breakfast.
• Journey through Yala mountainous province. Many picturesque places where we will make stops for photographing.
• Yala sightseeing tour.
• Visit Pattani - one of the most rebellious cities in Thailand. Visit the famous mosque in Pattani vicinity. Where armed separatist resistance began.
• Lunch at Pattani's best restaurant. National Southern Thai cuisine.
• Departure to Hat Yai airport. If we have a little time before the flight - take a tour around Hat Yai old town.
• Flight from Hat Yai to Bangkok.
• Meeting at Bangkok airport, transfer to your hotel in Pattaya.

Departure time

On 21:00-22:00, on the eve of departure, the guide will call you at the number specified in the application and tell you time pick up exactly. Or send a message.

Transport

Transfer is usually carried out by "Toyota Hiace" air-conditioned minibuses. Occasionally, if the group is small - transfer will be carried out by "Toyota H1" minivan, also with air conditioning.
